Beef Stew(Serves 4) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. beef stew meat
    1 pkg. onion soup mix
    8 oz. cream of mushroom soup
    1 soup can water
    4 potatoes, cubed
    2 carrots, diced or shredded
    2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
    1 c. Cheddar cheese, grated
Preparation
    Brown meat in oil in skillet.
    Transfer meat to 2-quart casserole dish.
    Combine all other ingredients; mix with meat. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 2 1/2 hours.
    Good served over hot biscuits.
