Nut Butter Ball - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. (1/2 lb.) butter or margarine
    1/4 to 1/2 c. powdered sugar
    2 tsp. vanilla extract
    2 c. sifted flour
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1 c. finely chopped or ground nuts
Preparation
    Cream the butter until soft and smooth, then blend in extract. Mix flour, salt and nuts.
    Add and mix well.
    (This is easier if kneaded in with the hands.)
    Refrigerate 1 hour or until easy to handle.
    Shape dough into 1-inch balls, tiny fingers or crescents. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 12 to 15 minutes or until light brown.
    While cookies are still warm, coat with powdered sugar.
    Re-roll them after they are cold.
