Green And Gold Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 lb. yellow squash
    3/4 lb. zucchini squash
    1/2 tsp. oregano
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. milk
    8 oz. shredded sharp cheese
    1 medium onion
    2 tsp. vegetable oil
    2 Tbsp. parsley
    3 beaten eggs
    20 saltine crackers
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 325\u00b0.
    Shred
    squash.
    Drain
    well
    any excess water.
    Chop onion and saute
    in oil.
    To the onion add oregano, parsley, salt, eggs and
    milk.
    In\ta
    greased casserole, spread a layer of the shredded squash.
    Top with a layer of crushed saltines and then with
    one cup of the cheese.
    Put the remainder of saltines and cheese
    over
    all
    and
    pour the mixture
    of onion, oregano,
    salt,
    parsley,
    eggs
    and
    milk. Bake, uncovered, for 40 minutes.
