Caramel Corn - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 qt. popped corn
    1 c. butter
    2 c. brown sugar
    1/2 c. white Karo syrup
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. salted peanuts
Preparation
    Melt butter.
    Stir in brown sugar, syrup and salt.
    Bring to boil and cook 5 minutes.
    Remove from heat.
    Stir in vanilla and soda.
    Pour over popcorn and nuts (which have been dumped in large greased pan).
    Stir with wooden spoon.
    Bake at 250\u00b0 for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes.
