Stuffed Peppers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 medium green peppers
    1 lb. lean ground beef
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
    1 small onion
    1/8 tsp. oregano
    dash of garlic powder
    1 c. shredded cheese
Preparation
    Halve green peppers lengthwise.
    Remove seeds and wash.
    Drop in boiling salt water for 10 minutes.
    Drain and put in baking pan. Brown ground beef and onion.
    Drain grease.
    Add tomato sauce, garlic powder, oregano, salt and pepper.
    Cook over low heat for 10 minutes.
    Spoon into pepper halves and top each half with cheese. Cover and bake at 325\u00b0 for 35 minutes.
