Life-Like Cookie Dough - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1/2 c. shortening
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. soda, dissolved in 2 Tbsp. milk
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 egg, beaten
1 pinch salt
2 c. flour

Preparation

Cream (butter) shortening and sugar; beat in the egg.
Add milk in which soda has been dissolved, vanilla, flour and salt. Chill.
Roll to 1/8 of an inch thickness.
Dip cutter in flour before cutting out cookies.
