Caramel Corn - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (12 oz.) box Crispix cereal
    1 (16 oz.) peanuts or cashews, etc.
    1 (6 oz.) bag popcorn
    2 sticks butter
    1/2 c. clear Karo syrup
    1 c. brown sugar
    1/4 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Mix first 3 ingredients in big bag or container.
    Mix next 3 ingredients in pan and boil for 2 minutes.
    Add baking soda and vanilla after boiling.
    Pour syrup mixture over popcorn mix and stir.
    Divide into 2 pans and bake for 1 hour at 225\u00b0, stirring every 15 minutes.
    Cool in refrigerator.
