Hush Puppies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 1/2 c. self-rising flour
1 1/2 c. self-rising corn meal
1 c. milk
1 egg
1 large onion
1/2 lb. grated Cheddar cheese

Preparation

Mix all ingredients together and roll into 1-inch balls.
Deep fry until golden brown.
