Ingredients

2 1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 c. soft butter
3/4 c. sugar
3/4 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs, beaten
1 (12 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Heat oven to 375\u00b0.
Sift flour, baking soda and salt in small bowl.
In large mixing bowl, mix butter, both sugars and vanilla. Beat until creamy.
Beat in eggs.
Add flour gradually.
Stir in chocolate chips and nuts; mix well.
Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 9 to 11 minutes. Makes about 5 dozen.
