Christmas Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 3/4 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3/4 c. soft butter or margarine
    1 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Sift flour, baking powder and salt together in a bowl.
    Beat butter, sugar, eggs and vanilla until light and fluffy.
    Beat flour mixture into butter mixture with mixer or spoon; blend until smooth.
    Chill 1 hour or until firm.
    Roll small amount of dough at a time, 1/8 inch thick.
    Keep remaining dough in refrigerator. Cut with cutters.
    Put on ungreased cookie sheet.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes.
