Hummingbird Cake 'N' Frosting - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. flour
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
3 eggs, beaten
1 1/2 c. salad oil
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 (8 oz.) can crushed pineapple
1 c. chopped pecans
2 c. chopped bananas
Preparation

Combine dry ingredients.
Add eggs and oil and stir until dry ingredients are moistened.
Do not beat, or cake
will be tough. Stir in vanilla, pineapple, pecans and bananas.
Put batter in well-greased 9 x 13-inch pan or 2 round 9-inch pans.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 55 minutes if in a 9 x 13-inch pan or from 30 to 35 minutes if in the 2 (9-inch) round pans.
Remove from oven when done and cool at least 15 minutes before using this special cream cheese icing.
