Pear Butter - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 qt. pear pulp
    2 lb. sugar
Preparation
    Wash pears; remove stems and quarter.
    Add 1/2 cup water and cook until tender.
    Put pears through food sieve or food processor.
    Add sugar to pulp and mix well.
    Place in uncovered shallow pan and bake at 350\u00b0 for 3 hours.
    Stir occasionally. Pour into jars and seal.
