Banana Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 3/4 c. flour
    1 1/4 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. soda
    3/4 c. shortening (Crisco solid)
    2/3 c. sugar
    2 eggs, slightly beaten
    1 c. extra ripe bananas, mashed (1 c. equals 4 medium bananas)
Preparation
    Sift flour, baking powder, soda and salt; set aside.
    Cream shortening.
    Add sugar gradually.
    Beat until light and fluffy. Add eggs; mix until smooth.
    Add dry ingredients alternately with bananas.
    Combine thoroughly; do not beat.
    Grease loaf pan (9 1/2 x 5 1/2-inch).
    Bake for 1 hour at 350\u00b0.
    Cool; remove from pan when slightly warm.
    Wrap in foil to seal in moisture and freshness.
