Dot Garrick'S Fudge Filling - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sugar
    1/2 c. cocoa
    1 1/2 c. milk
    dash of salt
    3 Tbsp. butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Combine sugar, cocoa, salt and milk in heavy saucepan.
    Cook until it forms soft ball in cup of cool water.
    Remove from heat. Add butter and vanilla.
    Let cool to lukewarm and beat with mixer about 5 minutes.
    Spread on cake, cupcakes, etc.
