Sugar Plums - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter (not oleo)
    5 c. powdered sugar
    1/4 c. whipping cream
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream the butter. Add sugar slowly. Add cream and vanilla. Beat until well blended. Shape into 1-inch balls and roll in colored sugar and dry jello mix or chocolate bits.
    Refrigerate. These freeze well.
