Italian Coconut Cream Cake - cooking recipe

2 c. sugar
5 egg yolks
2 sticks margarine
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. buttermilk*
2 c. coconut
1 c. walnuts
1 tsp. vanilla
*One cup milk plus 1 tablespoon vinegar.
Preparation
-
Cream sugar, egg yolks and margarine.
Add flour, baking soda, buttermilk, coconut, walnuts and vanilla.
Beat egg whites and add to batter last.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes or until top of cake is browned.
