Low-Fat Burgers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. garbanzo or pinto beans, cooked and mashed
    1 stalk celery, finely chopped
    1 carrot, finely chopped
    1 small onion, chopped fine
    3 slices whole wheat bread, softened with water
    1/2 lb. lean ground beef
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Mix ingredients well; form into 6 or 8 patties.
    Spray frypan with nonstick spray.
    Cook over medium heat, or put on grill. Serve in hamburger buns with lettuce, tomato, pickles and chips.
