Freezer Strawberry Jam - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. crushed strawberries
    5 c. sugar
    3/4 c. water
    1 pkg. Sure-Jell
Preparation
    Combine strawberries and sugar.
    Let stand 20 minutes.
    Stir occasionally.
    Combine water and pectin.
    Bring to a boil.
    Boil 1 minute, stirring constantly.
    Add pectin mixture to fruit and stir 3 minutes.
    Pour into jars or freezer containers, leaving 1-inch headspace.
    Cover with lids.
    Let stand at room temperature for 24 hours.
    Freeze.
    Yield:
    6 cups.
