2 c. hot water
2 tsp. vegetable shortening
1 pkg. raisins
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. ground cloves
3 c. flour
1 tsp. soda, dissolved in 2 tsp. hot water
Preparation

Bake in a greased tube pan about 1 hour at 350\u00b0 to 375\u00b0.
