Ingredients

5 1/4 c. unsifted confectioners sugar
4 heaping Tbsp. cocoa powder
2 c. coarsely chopped walnuts
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. egg whites (about 5 egg whites)
Preparation

Combine sugar, cocoa, nuts and salt in mixer bowl; mix at low speed until thoroughly blended.
Add unbeaten egg whites; mix just to moisten.
Do not overmix.
Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
Drop by heaping tablespoonfuls, 2 to 3 inches apart, onto parchment paper.
Bake at 300\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
Makes 2 dozen.
