Garlic Pork Roast - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (4 to 5 lb.) boned pork roast
    4 garlic cloves, cut into thin slivers
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Using the point of a paring knife, make slits all around the roast.
    Insert the garlic slivers into the slits.
    Rub entire roast with salt and sprinkle top with pepper.
    Place in roasting pan with meat thermometer and bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 40 minutes per pound or until thermometer reads 160\u00b0 to 170\u00b0.
    Remove roast from pan and let stand.
