Spring Time Lime Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (3 ounce) package lime gelatin
    1 cup creamed cottage cheese
    3/4 cup boiling water
    1/2 cup broken pecans
    1 cup evaporated milk
    1/2 cup celery, finely cut
    1 (8 1/4 ounce) can crushed pineapple
    1/2 cup mayonnaise or salad dressing
    1 tablespoon lemon juice
Preparation
    Dissolve gelatin in boiling water.
    Cool slightly, then stir in evaporated milk.
    Chill until as thick as unbeaten egg whites. Fold in pineapple, lemon juice, cheese, nuts, celery, and mayonnaise.
    Pour into 8 inch square pan or 5 cup mold.
    Chill until firm.
    Serves 8.
