Cheesy Potato Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

8 to 10 potatoes, peeled and diced
2 sticks butter
1 c. sliced carrots
1 large onion, diced
1/4 c. seasoned flour
1 c. cubed Velveeta cheese
milk
salt and pepper to taste
Preparation

In butter, saute onion and carrots until tender over medium heat. Cook potatoes until tender, then add onion and carrots, including butter to cooked potatoes. Over medium heat, add enough milk to cover potatoes and add flour; stir. Cook 30 to 45 minutes, then add cheese and salt and pepper to taste. Cook until cheese is thoroughly melted. Makes 6 to 8 servings.
