Southern Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pie crust
    1/2 c. margarine
    1/2 c. sugar
    3 eggs
    3/4 c. white corn syrup
    2 Tbsp. honey
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. pecan halves
Preparation
    Cream margarine until soft.
    Add sugar, gradually, continuing to beat until light and fluffy.
    Beat eggs, using mix-stir.
    Add syrup, honey and vanilla.
    Blend thoroughly.
    Slowly beat egg mixture into margarine-sugar mixture.
    Add 1 cup pecans.
    Pour into pie shell.
    Arrange remaining 1 cup pecans on top.
    Bake 50 to 55 minutes at 350\u00b0. Cool.
    Top with whipped cream if desired. Serves 6 to 8.
