Homemade Pate(Leverpostei) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. chopped shallots
    4 Tbsp. butter
    1/2 lb. chicken livers
    3 Tbsp. warm brandy
    2 Tbsp. heavy cream
    pinch of dried tarragon
    salt and freshly ground pepper to taste
Preparation
    Cook shallots in 1 tablespoon butter until soft.
    Remove shallots from pan.
    Add remaining butter and saute chicken livers over a quick fire for 4 or 5 minutes.
    Do not overcook.
    Pour brandy over livers and ignite.
    Remove pan from heat and add shallots, cream, tarragon, salt and pepper.
    Pour mixture into a blender and blend until smooth and creamy.
    Pour mixture into a jar or bowl and chill 4 hours.
