Coconut Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 Duncan Hines white cake mix, baked as directed on box
    1 1/2 c. milk
    1 c. sugar
    1 pkg. frozen coconut
    1 (12 oz.) container Cool Whip
    1 pkg. frozen coconut, thawed
Preparation
    Boil milk, sugar and 1 package of coconut for 5 to 7 minutes. While cake is hot, prick with fork and pour boiled mixture over cake.
    Allow to cool.
    Mix Cool Whip and other package of coconut. Spread over cooled cake.
    Keep refrigerated.
