Old Time Chicken Dumplings - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. melted margarine
    boiling water
    1 egg
Preparation
    Sift
    the
    flour, baking powder and salt together.
    Add margarine
    and
    enough
    boiling
    water
    to\tmake a stiff dough (dough should
    be
    stiff,
    not soft).
    Let cool and mix in the egg.
    Roll thin and cut in squares.
    Drop into boiling chicken stock and cook 5 minutes.
    These dumplings are never heavy and they are as good or better when warmed over.
