Mildred'S Christmas Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. crushed pineapple, do not drain
    1 c. water
    1 c. sugar
    2 pkg. plain Knox gelatine
    juice of one lemon
    2 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese spread
    2 jars pineapple cheese spread
    1/2 pt. whipping cream, whipped
Preparation
    Dissolve gelatine in water.
    Combine with pineapple, sugar and lemon juice.
    Bring to a boil.
    Remove from heat and add cream cheese and pineapple cheese spreads.
    Stir until dissolved and blended.
    Add whipping cream.
    Pour into 13 x 19-inch dish and refrigerate for several hours or overnight.
    May garnish with red or green maraschino cherries if making for Christmas.
