Chocolate Macaroons - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. vegetable shortening
    4 sq. unsweetened chocolate
    2 c. sifted flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 c. sugar
    4 eggs (unbeaten)
    2 tsp. vanilla
    powdered sugar
Preparation
    Melt together shortening and chocolate.
    Sift together flour, baking powder and salt.
    Add sugar to chocolate, stirring until smooth.
    Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
    Add vanilla.
    Add flour mixture; blend thoroughly. Chill dough 2 to 3 hours.
