Chop Suey - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. round steak, diced
    2 Tbsp. shortening
    1 c. celery, diced
    2 c. onion, diced
    1 Tbsp. soy sauce
    2 Tbsp. beaded molasses
    2 c. water
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    2 Tbsp. flour
    salt and pepper to taste
    cooked rice
    Chinese noodles
Preparation
    Brown steak in shortening.
    Add celery, onion, soy sauce, molasses and water.
    Cook 45 minutes.
    Stir in soup, flour, salt and pepper.
    Simmer 10 minutes.
    Serve on rice; top with noodles. Yields 10 servings.
