Lime Fruit Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large or 2 small pkg. lime jello
    1 c. boiling water
    1 bottle cherries
    1/2 c. chopped nuts (walnuts or pecans)
    1 pt. sour cream
Preparation
    Dissolve jello in boiling water; mix thoroughly and cool (not in refrigerator).
    Drain cherries and cut in half.
    Mix all ingredients; pour into 8-inch square glass dish and chill.
    Cut into 9 pieces to serve.
    (I like this at Christmas because of the colors.)
