Whole Wheat Prune Muffins - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3/4 c. sifted white flour
1 c. whole wheat flour
4 tsp. baking powder
3/4 tsp. salt
2 Tbsp. sugar
3/4 c. cooked, drained finely cut prunes
1 egg, well beaten
1 c. milk
1/4 c. melted shortening
Preparation

Sift dry ingredients.
Add prunes. Combine milk, egg and melted shortening.
Stir in dry ingredients. Fill muffin pans 2/3 full.
Bake at 400\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
Makes 12 muffins.
