Lo-Cal Broccoli Quiche - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 ready to bake pie crust
egg substitute equivalent to 4 eggs
1 c. low-fat milk
2 1/2 Tbsp. onion, chopped
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. thyme
2 c. broccoli flowerets, blanched and drained
3 oz. each: Cheddar and Monterey Jack cheese, shredded
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
In large bowl, combine eggs, milk, onion, salt and thyme.
Layer broccoli and cheeses in crust.
Pour egg mixture over broccoli and cheese.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 to 50 minutes or until knife inserted comes out clean.
Cool 5 minutes. Yield: 6 to 8 servings.
