Banana Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2/3 c. sugar
    1/3 c. soft shortening
    2 eggs
    3 Tbsp. sour milk or buttermilk
    1 c. mashed banana
    2 c. sifted flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Mix together sugar, shortening and eggs.
    Stir in milk or buttermilk and bananas.
    In separate bowl, combine flour, baking powder, soda and salt.
    Combine with sugar mixture.
    Stir in nuts. Let stand 20 minutes.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 50 to 60 minutes.
