Beth'S Fruited Bran Muffins - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. oats
    2 c. boiling water
    4 big eggs, beaten
    1 c. oil
    1 qt. buttermilk
    1 1/4 c. sugar
    3 c. whole wheat flour
    2 c. white flour
    5 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    4 c. all-bran cereal
    3 pkg. Fruit Bits
    1 c. chopped walnuts
Preparation
    Combine oats with boiling water.
    Cool.
    Combine eggs, oil and buttermilk.
    Combine the dry ingredients.
    Combine all ingredients.
    Bake in muffin pans (greased) or in muffin cups at 375\u00b0 for 15 to 20 minutes.
    Makes 6 dozen muffins.
    Muffins can be frozen.
