Jan Hagen (Dutch Hail) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter or margarine
    1 c. sugar
    1 egg, separated
    2 c. Gold Medal flour
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1 Tbsp. water
    1/2 c. very finely chopped nuts
Preparation
    Lightly grease jelly roll pan (15 1/2 x 10 1/2 x 1-inch).
    May spray with Pam.
    Mix butter, sugar and egg yolk.
    Measure flour by dipping or sifting.
    Blend flour and cinnamon.
    Stir into butter mixture.
    Pat into pan.
    Beat water and egg white until frothy. Brush over dough.
    Sprinkle with nuts.
