Roast In Beer And Onion Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (3 to 5 lb.) boneless chuck roast
    2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
    1 can beer
    1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
    1 pkg. dry onion soup mix
    1 small green pepper, thinly sliced
Preparation
    Brown roast on all sides in oil.
    Drain and place in slow cooker.
    Combine beer, tomato sauce and onion soup mix.
    Blend well.
    Pour over roast. Cover and cook 8 hours on low.
    Add peppers during final 2 hours.
