Coconut Sour Cream Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. butter flavored cake mix
    2 c. sugar
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. sour cream
    1 (12 oz.) pkg. frozen coconut
    1 1/2 to 2 c. whipped cream or Cool Whip
Preparation
    Prepare cake according to directions, making 2 (8-inch) layers.
    When cool, split both layers, making 4 layers.
    Blend together sugar, sour cream and coconut.
    Spread all but 1 cup of mixture between the layers.
    Blend remaining cup with Cool Whip and spread on top and sides of cake.
    Seal in airtight container and refrigerate.
