Candied Yams - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 to 7 medium cooked sweet potatoes, or 2 cans yams (no juice)
1/4 c. melted butter
1 c. maple syrup
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
Preparation

In 1 1/2 to 2-quart casserole dish, combine butter, syrup and spices.
Add sweet potatoes and roll until coated with liquid. Bake uncovered at 325\u00b0 for 35 minutes.
If sweet potatoes start to brown, turn them over in the liquid.
If necessary, cover to keep from burning.
Serves 4 to 6.
