Fried Cabbage - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 head shredded cabbage
    1/2 pack bacon or sausage (hot or mild)
    1 onion
    1 green pepper
    1/4 Tbsp. ground red pepper
    1/2 Tbsp. black pepper
    salt to taste
    2 shredded carrots
Preparation
    Shred cabbage and set aside.
    Cook bacon or sausage and fry the grease in a separate container to be used later.
    Chop up onion and green pepper and saute them with a little of the meat grease.
    After the pepper and onion cook, put in the cabbage; add meat grease in teaspoons and cook on medium-high.
    Add carrots, stirring constantly, for 10 minutes.
    Turn heat to simmer and add meat and seasoning.
    Cook until tender.
