Spoon Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. corn meal
    1 tsp. oil
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1 beaten egg
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 1/2 Tbsp. butter, melted
Preparation
    Pour corn meal into bowl.
    Pour 3/4 cup boiling water over meal.
    Cover and cool.
    Add salt, sugar and egg.
    Dissolve soda in buttermilk and add to first mixture.
    Mix thoroughly.
    Add melted butter.
    Pour into a deep greased baking dish.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes.
