Sausage Pinwheels - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. plain flour
    3 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/3 c. shortening
    3/4 c. buttermilk
    1 lb. sausage
Preparation
    Sift dry ingredients.
    Work in shortening.
    Add milk and mix well.
    Divide dough in half.
    Roll each half until 1/4-inch thick. Divide sausage in half and spread evenly over dough.
    Roll each into a roll.
    Slice and bake at 400\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
