Fat-Free Devil'S Food Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/4 c. flour
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. unsweetened cocoa
    1/4 c. cornstarch
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    4 egg whites
    1 c. water
    1/2 c. light Karo syrup
Preparation
    Mix flour, salt, sugar, cocoa, cornstarch and soda.
    In another bowl, whisk together egg whites, water and syrup.
    Add dry ingredients to this and pour into either a 9 x 9-inch or 8 x 8-inch pan that has been sprayed with Pam.
    Bake 30 minutes at 350\u00b0 in 9 x 9-inch pan.
    Bake 35 minutes to 40 minutes with an 8 x 8-inch pan.
