Crazy Crust Cherry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. self-rising flour
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    3/4 c. water
    1 (1 lb. 5 oz.) can cherry pie filling
    2/3 c. solid vegetable shortening
    1 egg
Preparation
    In small mixer bowl, combine flour, sugar, water, shortening and egg.
    Blend well at lowest speed.
    Spread batter into a 9 or 10-inch pie pan (deep dish).
    Carefully spoon pie filling into center of batter.
    (Do not stir.) Bake at 425\u00b0 for 35 to 40 minutes.
