Chewy Chess Brownies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. butter
1 box light brown sugar
1/2 c. white sugar
4 eggs
2 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla
pinch of salt
1 c. chopped pecans (optional)

Preparation

Heat butter and brown sugar on low heat.
Remove and add other ingredients.
Mix well and pour into 9 x 13 pan that has been greased and floured.
Bake at 300\u00b0 for 30 to 45 minutes.
Remove and sprinkle top with some confectioners sugar.
Let cool before cutting into squares.
