Apple Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 egg
    1 c. sugar
    1 stick margarine
    1 c. flour
    1 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. diced apples
Preparation
    Cream margarine, sugar and egg well.
    Add apples and nuts. Stir together dry ingredients and add to apple mixture.
    Pour into a 9-inch square pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes.
    Serve warm or cold with whipped cream or ice cream, if desired.
    Serves 6 to 8.
