Chocolate Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. shortening or 1 stick oleo
1/2 c. cocoa
2 eggs
1/2 c. sweet milk
1 c. cold water
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. vanilla
pinch of salt

Preparation

Mix sugar, shortening, cocoa and eggs together, then add milk, water, flour, baking powder, soda, vanilla and salt.
Put in a 9 x 13-inch pan (grease and flour first).
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 40 minutes.
