Sourdough Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. Sourdough Starter
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 slightly beaten egg
    1 1/2 c. flour (plus enough to make soft dough)
    butter or margarine
Preparation
    Combine Sourdough Starter, sugar, salt and egg.
    Add 1 1/2 cups flour; beat until smooth.
    Gradually beat in enough flour to make a soft dough.
    Knead on floured surface until smooth, using only enough flour to prevent sticking.
    Place in buttered bowl; turn once to bring buttered side up.
    Cover; let rise in warm place until double in bulk.
    Punch down and shape into balls.
    Place balls on greased baking sheets.
    Brush with melted butter, cover and let rise.
    Bake 15 minutes at 400\u00b0.
