Cracker Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 egg whites
    1 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. baking powder
    14 soda crackers, coarsely crumbled
    3/4 c. slivered walnuts
    1 c. heavy cream
Preparation
    Beat egg whites until foamy; gradually add sugar, beating until stiff.
    Combine crackers, walnuts and baking powder.
    Fold into egg mixture with vanilla.
    Spread in a buttered 9-inch pie pan and bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes or until dry.
    Cool and spread with sweetened whipped cream.
    Refrigerate at least 2 hours. Serves 6 to 8.
