Pepper Steak - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 to 1 1/2 lb. sirloin steak, trim fat and cut into cubes
1/4 c. oil
1 c. water
1 medium onion, sliced
1/2 tsp. garlic salt
1/4 tsp. ginger
2 medium green peppers, sliced
1 Tbsp. cornstarch
2 to 3 tsp. sugar (optional)
2 Tbsp. soy sauce
2 medium tomatoes, sliced
Preparation

Brown meat in hot oil in skillet.
Stir in water, onion, garlic salt and ginger.
Heat to boiling.
Reduce heat to simmer. Cover and simmer 12 to 15 minutes.
Add green pepper slices during last 5 minutes.
